As if seeing Devo a few weeks wasn't life changing enough I was lucky enough to catch the Residents at the El Rey Theater a few days ago. It still hasn't fully sunk in that I saw these living lengends. I've been a fan for a few years but I still feel new to them. Their body of work is so vast and perplexing. I thought seeing them might give me some kind of insight into their whole esoteric discordian creation . I'm still delightfully confused and entranced. There's some truly grotesque wizardry at work here.
